From Trend Hunter Magazine comes an article about research being done with regard to “Potentialism,” Full Story. Potentialism is a trend that Jeremy Gutsche (founder of Trend Hunter) describes as ” the act of branching off the traditional path of life to pursue a passion and realize your full potential. This can mean prioritizing travel, hobbies and personal fulfillment above career success.”
In a piece of research done in conjunction with American Express, Trend Hunter has found that 38% of Canadians fit the profile, as does Jeremy himself, since he left his position at Capital One to pursue his “hobby” (his words) to create Trend Hunter.
