Years ago, in branding exercises, I used to ask the question, “Who would you be, Jobs or Gates?” Nearly everyone said Jobs. Now I am not too sure. Jobs is starting to look like the Gates of old, and Gates – well, he looks kinda like Robin Hood or Santa. I mean, his foundation is doing good work, he’s giving away his money, he’s speaking at TED, what’s next?
