HIGHLINE SNOW-OFF

How sad that what used to belong to the world of playful childhood innocence has become the stuff of fierce adult competition. Witness the snow sculpt-off that took place this week after a big blizzard hit our ‘hood.
My vote goes to the snow-rats. Are those drink-stir whiskers?
Calvin Tron
In December, MKTG’s Creative Department went to see Tron, but no one brought their designer 3-D shades. Hmmm…maybe because no one wants to pay $180 to look good in the dark?
Personally, I like boxy, old-school 3-D glasses, but I’ve always been partial to the DEVO look.
Go West, Young Groban

Josh Groban and Kanye West: two names you don’t usually see next to each other. But not so on Kimmel, where last night the renowned jazz vocalist offered some musical interpretations of Kanye West’s best tweets ever. Heady topics include the trouble of sleeping on fur pillows and the art of decision-making while in bike stores. Also, in the words of Kanye, “I love me.”
Life After Print

NIKE proves they too have a very green sole. The Women’s Premium Print pack shoe trio, currently found only in China and Europe, is made using shredded magazines.
The Flash Macro Preminum, the Blazer Mid Premium and the Air Rift Premium all have regular soles, strings and other components however the main material used in each is a laminated fabric of stitched mags.

BINGO EXPRESS
Who loves riding the subway? Yeah, that’s what I thought.
Well, how about a little B-I-N-G-O with your A, F, R, or Z? The train home just got a whole lot faster.
