TristERRRRRR- TrustoCorp takes on the island of Manhattan and in their words,  “highlighting the hilarity & hypocrisy of human behavior.” Takes on an interesting shape. Sister Corita was a political activist-artist who also happened to be a Roman Catholic Nun.  Those of you who went to Catholic school and had the John Denver-listening, hippy nuns, as opposed to the stick-wielding “mother superior” type of nuns, will appreciate this especially.

TED hearts Jamie, too

I’ve been a huge Jamie Oliver fan since I was a fluttery high school girl.  In fact, when it comes to Jamie, I am still a fluttery high school girl.  These days, though, it has less to do with his boyish, British charm than his food philosophy, both in and out of the kitchen.  Of course, his cooking style is still as simple, seasonal, and flavorful as always (and just watch the man chop an onion…! But I digress).
