French animator Maxime Luere crafts the story of one fictional guy’s romantic ups and downs – from cute girls and bad breakups to true love and marriage – all told via his Facebook page. A sweet, moving tale of love that is oddly told to the backdrop of the Rolling Stones’ “Paint It Black,” a song about death, grief and suicidal thoughts. Anti-social network, anyone?

Did anyone really need another reason to hate Mondays? According to 10,000 breakup notifications on Facebook, most people cut the cord two weeks before Christmas, spring break, right after Valentine’s Day and…Mondays. British journalist and designer David McCandless analyzed Facebook status messages with the phrases ‘break up’ or ‘broken up’ and charted the results.
