CLOVER AT MARIN COUNTY FAIR

without comments

FotorCreated

The Choose Clo program continues to move full speed ahead and the 4th of July weekend provided the perfect opportunity to get product in the hands of consumers at the Marin County Fair in San Rafael, California.

For five continuous days, MKTG operated a premium sampling experience as part of a long-standing sponsorship between the fair and Clover Stornetta Farms. Through seamless teamwork across all departments, we successfully transformed a blank canvas into a refined consumer experience with multiple touch points including a product sampling counter (yogurt, chocolate milk and iced coffee), a Choose Clo-themed photo booth and a kids coloring zone. Additionally, we were tasked with identifying cost-effective solutions resulting in a DIY approach to outfitting the barn while remaining contextually relevant to the environment, campaign and the holiday.

The activation was a huge hit and the client was thrilled with their brand presence on-site. We sampled 9,300 units of yogurt, 3,500 units of chocolate milk and 600 units of iced coffee. In addition, our photo booth was a popular attraction resulting in 1,300 photos taken and shared throughout the duration of the fair. That equates to approximately one photo every minute and a half.

The end of July marks our 10th straight week of activations with Clover Stornetta. We look ahead to a busy August and September where we continue to target large events while also trying new activations on corporate and college campuses.

Next time you find yourself in the dairy aisle, remember that you have a choice. Choose responsibly. Choose Clo!

Bestselling author Colin Campbell and one very big dog named George will kick off a nationwide tour beginning Tuesday, May 3rd in New York to coincide with the official launch of the highly-anticipated memoir Free Days with George (Penguin Random House). The book has been named one of the Top 20 Editor’s Pick for Spring Nonfiction by Amazon Free Days with George is the remarkable true story of a 140-pound homeless dog named George and his adopted human Colin, who felt like his life was crumbling around him. George teaches Colin the real meaning of happiness and hope through their connection which transcends a lot of things we know about loyalty and love.

PEDIGREE® is a sponsor of Free Days with George which is supported by a six-week, 24 city tour highlighted by retail book signings, media interviews and visits to select animal rescue shelters. As a sponsor of the tour, PEDIGREE is not only supporting the adoption cause, they are also generously donating dog food to shelters across the country, furthering the goal of donating more than 10 million bowls to dogs in need in 2016.

Free Days with George brings to life the PEDIGREE Brand ‘Feed the Good’ campaign, which is based on the simple insight that dogs and people bring out the best in each other,” said Melodie Bolin, PEDIGREE Brand Manager. “We are excited to be part of a tour that demonstrates the bond between dog and owner while also giving back to shelter animals in need. Throughout the tour we’ll donate to several of the shelter stops, helping provide these animals with the nutrition they need while contributing to finding them a loving forever home.”

The tour will continue on to New Jersey, Philadelphia, Baltimore, Pittsburgh, Detroit, Chicago, Milwaukee, Minneapolis, Denver, Salt Lake City, Los Angeles, Phoenix, Santa Fe, N.M., Tulsa, Okla., Dallas, Austin, Houston, New Orleans, Jackson, Miss., St. Louis, Nashville, Tenn., Asheville, N.C., Raleigh, N.C. and ending in Atlanta on June 10, 2016,

“George is the dog who changed my life. When I was at my worst, he was there to comfort me. He was homeless when I took him in as a ‘rescue’ but as it turns out, he’s really the one who rescued me,” remarks Campbell. Free Days with George is his story but it’s also the story of any of us who have experienced loss or heartache. It’s a book about love, hope and second chances that we all eventually need at some point in our lives.”

NetSuite SuiteWorld: The #1 Cloud ERP Event

with one comment

At MKTG INC, whether it’s a B-to-C campaign, or B-to-B ,we craft our event strategy with our client’s target audience at the center:

-What are their passion points?

-How can we engage with them prior, during and following an event?

-How do we build something that is special, sharable and unforgettable and ultimately build an allegiance between the target and our client’s brand, products and/or services.

That strategy came to life for cloud software giant NetSuite’s 5th Annual SuiteWorld Conference in San Jose, California. From May 4th-May 7th, the streets of San Jose were packed with thousands of people attending SuiteWorld, heralded as the #1 Cloud ERP Event of the year.

As NetSuite’s experiential marketing partner, we led the creative execution for the entire conference, as well as the production and creative delivery of three ancillary events throughout the week.

In addition to producing over 35,000 pieces of signage and collateral, MKTG INC set-up a mind-blowing alternative to the typical conference, as attendees found themselves floating through competitive games of air hockey and listening to the SuiteTunes in between totally stimulating breakout sessions and keynotes, finishing off their week of working by celebrating at SuiteFest with the upcoming Rock ‘n’ Roll goddess, Dorothy, infamous Norwegian duo Nico & Vinz and indie electro band, Capital Cities.

From the grand façade welcoming this year’s attendees, the Nav Centers guiding the way, and the Pedicabs offering a friendly ride home, the ooo’s and ahh’s over the look and feel were familiar coos being heard from both near and far.

London Welcomes Dropbox in Shoreditch Hackathon

without comments

London Hackathon

Sure, California’s Silicon Valley may always be the birthplace of tech, but recently a few other cities worldwide have been giving Silicon Valley a run for its digital money. From New York’s Silicon Alley to Dublin’s Silicon Docks, hotbeds of innovation everywhere have begun to draw the attention of the world’s biggest tech name-brands.

The newest in this lineup is London and its “Silicon Roundabout.” Located around Old Street and bordering Central and Eastern London, this thriving tech/creative area has attracted companies like Google, Cisco … and, now, Dropbox. So MKTG LDN thought we’d give the newcomer a warm English welcome, in the form of a 2-day hackathon at Shoreditch Studios.

Over 120 developers and designers were challenged to create new apps using the Dropbox API, and were awarded for their skill and creativity in a variety of categories, including London Local, Best Design and Overall Winner. Two social hours, including an open bar and dinner, allowed ample opportunity for some members of the Dropbox product teams to meet their new neighbors.

With mentions in The Guardian, Techworld and multiple social media channels, the Dropbox hackathon proved that it will make a great neighbor in London’s new capital of tech and innovation.
