MKTG UK Shortlisted for 18 FMBE Awards!

MKTG US has been shortlisted for 18 awards at the Field Marketing and Brand Experience Awards, including Agency of the Year.

The shortlist spans over 10 campaigns, including Norwegian, Buzzbike, Toyota and Fitness First, and includes categories ranging from Operational Success of the Year, to Creative Campaign of the Year.

The awards will take place on the 19th October, and the full shortlist can be viewed here.

MKTG UK Wins Big At The FMBE Awards Including “Agency of the Year”

At the prestigious Field Marketing and Brand Experience (FMBE) Awards on October 20MKTG UK led the way winning the impressive Brand Experience Agency of the Year and scooping two more gold, one silver and five bronze awards.

This leading industry event, now in its 12th year, attracts the biggest and best brands and agencies celebrating work in field, retail and live experiential marketing. FMBE exists to champion best practice in FM&BE disciplines, and to help clients select and get the best results from leading specialist/integrated agencies and their suppliers.

The awards won by MKTG celebrated a body of work that was seen as considerable and versatile by FMBE judges.

Healthy Lungs for Life – Raising Awareness Across London This September

Lung health campaign Healthy Lungs for Life have been activating around London raising awareness of lung health function and protection against air pollution. MKTG UK have been producing the event while Posterscope planned and bought the OOH activity. The event kicked off from Septemer 2-3 in Trafalgar Square with representatives from ELF, the British Lung Foundation and Asthma UK helping to raise awareness.

Upcoming free lung testing events will take place at Islington Green Gardens on September 22 and Acton Market on September 23.

Experiential agency psLIVE and partnership and sponsorship marketing agency Dentsu Aegis Network Sports & Entertainment (DANSE) have united and rebranded as MKTG UK.

This follows the 2014 Dentsu Aegis Network acquisition of US-based lifestyle marketing agency MKTG, which now makes up one of Dentsu Aegis Network’s nine global brands.

MKTG UK combines the expertise of psLIVE and DANSE under the leadership of MKTG UK and Posterscope CEO Stephen Whyte, supported by brand experience managing director Michael Brown and sports & entertainment managing director David Peters.

The rebrand is part of a strategic decision to leverage the capabilities of both agency teams with a global offering, providing creative, technology, data & media capabilities.

MKTG UK CEO Stephen Whyte said: “psLIVE and DANSE provide complementary expertise across activations, events, experiential and sponsorships. Joining both agencies together as MKTG UK will strengthen our ability to deliver best in class, innovative campaigns and projects and enable us to deliver both globally and locally for clients.”
