Smirnoff House at EDC Orlando: #LoveWins

with one comment

It’s been a busy year for MKTG’s Smirnoff team and our client with the success of Smirnoff House, popping up at key EDM festivals throughout the year. This past weekend, the House made its final 2016 appearance at Electric Daisy Carnival, Orlando and it was an extra special event.Smirnoff is a big supporter of the LGBT community, and with this activation being in Orlando, we partnered with Pulse Nightclub, inviting some of their regular DJs to play at the House and be a part of the official lineup. We also had some of the bartenders from Pulse working at the activation and embracing #LoveWins (as beautifully illustrated on the House’s façade).

Even in the rain, the House and garden were packed from start to finish. The reputation of Smirnoff House is definitely getting out there, with it becoming a destination stage that festival attendees specifically seek out.

MKTG Atlanta: “Discovering You”

without comments

MKTG Atlanta’s Career Planning Committee, affectionately referred to as the “CPC”, hosted their first annual “Discovering You” day on June 30. The day was filled with various activities to foster self-reflection and learn more about oneself. We kicked off with breakfast and goodie bag distribution (packed with the book Fired Up Or Burned Out, a Tangle, positivity tools and snacks).  Participants were able to view Ted Talk presentations all day, take a personality test and write a letter to a colleague encouraging them in the areas that they excel. We chatted over a Food For Thought lunch and enjoyed documenting the day’s experience via video, above. The “Discovering You” experience instilled a buzz around the office, as colleagues continue to share what they’ve learned about themselves. We are already looking forward to next year!
